The guided tour on 2 sites (900m) tells the story of J. Besset, from his apprenticeship as a wheelwright to automobile bodywork and finally to coach manufacturing. Video room, scale models, vehicle exhibition.

In a warm atmosphere, the guided tour retraces the extraordinary industrial epic of Joseph Besset. On site No. 1 you enter a wheelwright's workshop from the end of the 19th century with its tools, its forge and its machines. A little further, a very extensive collection of scale models allows you to discover coaches from all eras on different continents.
A very original video room takes you on a pleasant journey through the fabulous history of the coach industry.
To conclude this extraordinary excursion through time, we welcome you to site No. 2, to discover over 1000 m², vehicles from the artisanal era: Rolland Pilain car from 1928, Citroën P32 car from 1935, seen in the film Faubourg 36, Citroën P45 from 1947, Tubincendie from 1947… to the industrial era: Isobloc from 1943 and 1955, Saviem SC10 and S53, R312, FR1…
A sheet metal forming workshop invites you to discover a profession which allowed highly qualified workers to create the bodies of the first vehicles with just a few tools.
