Flight with Montgolfières & Cie

Escape the everyday! Embark on a 3-4 hour hot air balloon adventure in a warm and relaxed atmosphere, soaring above the hills and valleys of northern Ardèche. Flights are in small groups in balloons accommodating a maximum of 5 to 8 passengers.

MONTGOLFIERES & Cie is a company created in 2010 by two passionate and qualified pilots, this team has already acquired some great references and in particular the title of French champion in 2013 in 2020 and in 2024, a title of European and World team champion in 2021 and 2024.

From the birthplace of ballooning, come experience this wonderful adventure with us, touch the sky from the world's most beautiful balcony. You won't forget these images, this tranquility, these colors, these details observed here and there. Our qualified pilots will take you aboard our comfortable gondolas (seating 2 to 8) offering a breathtaking 360° view. (Gondolas with easy access doors)

We organize balloon rides in Annonay as well as throughout the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The flights take place early in the morning in calm weather with little wind, without rain or fog. It takes about 3 to 4 hours for a flight of about 1 hour.

The flight consists of three parts: the inflation of the balloon for about 20 minutes during which you can participate, the flight and the landing in a
ground chosen according to the wind. Celebration around a few bubbles.

Detail of the service:
- You will contact us the day before the flight so that we can confirm the flight or not after studying the latest weather models.
- Reception at the park of the Château de Déomas in Annonay or in its surroundings.
- Meeting over breakfast.
- Last weather update on flight conditions, safety briefing and distribution of roles if you wish to participate in the inflation of the hot air balloon.
- Preparation of the equipment, installation of the balloon, inflation.
- Gentle takeoff for 1 hour of lightness with the winds at different altitudes, flight over the valleys and reliefs of northern Ardèche (no route can be planned, we are carried by the winds).
- On landing the recovery team finds its balloon, impressions and exchanges, folding of the balloon.
- Near the landing site we will celebrate the flight with a glass of natural sparkling wine or fruit juice and pastries and the presentation of the hot air balloon ascent certificate.
- Return on board our vehicles to the place of flight.

Complementary activities: Flights and animations in a tethered balloon, photography, communication and aerial advertising.
