Exhibition - Annonay on the rooftops

Take Heritage Days, add the bicentenary of photography, come to the library, and you will discover a montage of photos dating from 1920 of the roofs of Annonay.

These photographs were taken by a photographer, Marie Arth, who settled in Annonay, presumably following a family dispute. Indeed, her father and brother, the undisputed heirs to the family business based in Tournon, announced in the Annonay newspaper a few days after Marie Arth's shop opened: "Messrs. Arth, father and son, have the honor of informing the public that they do not have a branch in Annonay. They operate only at 14, rue Montgolfier (Tournon)." So, this is something to honor our family heritage as well!
