Matrimony and Heritage Days
Heritage Days in Annonay and surrounding areas Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September 2025 are an opportunity to discover or rediscover historical and cultural nuggets that surround us. Set off to explore history and its unique monuments, some of which are open to the public only during these days !
This year, the theme of Heritage Days is architectural heritage.
In addition, for several editions, we have been highlighting Matrimony. Animations highlight women who have made and marked history.
Several sites can only be visited by registration: remember to register in advance.
UNESCO application
A highlight of this edition: the spotlight on the UNESCO World Heritage candidacy, led by the association De Rhône en Vignes – Cultures en partage, from Vienne to Valence. This ambitious project aims to recognize and preserve a unique territory, shaped by the Rhône and marked by the eight appellations of the northern Côtes-du-Rhône.
On this occasion, the Cellar of Saint-Desirat and Serrières Museum will host a UNESCO office. Students from the Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University, involved in the project, will present the approach, answer your questions and gather your opinions on "What constitutes heritage in our region"
