Step inside the Museum of Riverboatmen and Riverboats in Serrières, located within the Saint-Sornin church, a listed 15th-century monument.
Inside, discover the history of the Rhône and those who brought it to life.

During your visit, discover the wooden riverboats, the impressive trains of boats once hauled by horses, and the daily life of the riverboat population that enlivened the banks of the river.

Objects, models, and personal accounts tell a little-known human and river adventure, following the course of the water. An accessible visit for all, ideal for gaining a better understanding of the Rhône, its economic role, and the lives of the rivermen.
