Public Rehearsal - Edoardo Sgambato & Priscilla Pizziol - Amelia

The public rehearsals, presented and hosted by Abou Lagraa and/or Nawal Aït Benalla, co-director of Cie La Baraka / La Chapelle, are an invitation to meet the dance and the artists who created it!

“Amelia” is a eulogy of fragility. An invitation to immerse yourself in memory and let yourself be overcome by the feeling of emptiness that arises from your loss. Two bodies inhabit a single chair trying to share their loneliness and hold on to past lives, worlds and times. The chair exists, breathes, knows all the secrets. It becomes the place that shelters confusions and feelings. As a point of reference to which to return to recompose your past and understand the present.
