Overview
Marie Delmotte's exhibition presents a poetic work where painting captures fragments of existence. A tribute to the patience of the world, each work testifying to the infinitesimal and a desire for enchantment.
Marie Delmotte invites us to discover her intimate universe through a series of paintings where the infinitesimal takes center stage. Her work is nourished by everyday elements – twigs, fragments, footprints – which are transformed into human or plant forms, testifying to a constant search for meaning and beauty. Through her painting, the artist explores profound questions: the desire for patience, the mystery of the natural world, and the questioning of human superiority. Her work is an act of resistance, where each canvas, often tinged with blue, is both a projection of her life and a way to push back the walls of her daily life. Everything is intertwined in a sincere desire to enchant and pay homage to what seems the smallest and most fragile.
