Presentation
"In a world in trouble, birds gather at the call of the hoopoe to go in search of the Roiseau who lives on the other side of the world and who could save them."
An initiatory journey that promises to be long and difficult, only a small group decides to embark on the adventure. Carried by three musicians, this story is that of the Conference of the Birds, a 12th-century Sufi poem written by Farid Al-Din Attar. They offer a free interpretation that tickles the taste buds of the imagination. Through sounds influenced by jazz and world music, Attar's words, sometimes sung, sometimes narrated, are transformed into music to evoke the fragility, courage, and freedom of birds that stray from the beaten track. In this humanist work where birds are the mirror of humanity, the musicians advocate an openness to the world in joy and poetry.
