Matrimony and Heritage Days

The Heritage Days in Annonay and surrounding areas on Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22, 2024 are an opportunity to discover or rediscover historical and cultural nuggets that surround us. Set off to explore history and its unique monuments, some of which are open to the public only during these days !

This year, the themes of the Heritage Days are “Heritage of routes, networks and connections” and “Maritime heritage”.

In addition, for this 2024 edition, we highlight Matrimony. Animations highlight women who have made and marked history.

Several sites can only be visited by registration: remember to register beforehand! Here is a selection of our favorites for this 2024 edition.

Unesco survey

Our territory is a candidate for UNESCO world heritage, for international recognition of the Rhône des Côtes. Focused on the notion of river and wine cultural landscape, this application concerns an area located in the Rhône valley between Vienne and Valence.

We welcome you to our meeting points below to answer your questions about the project and share your opinion on “what constitutes heritage in our territory”. For those who wish, you can support your remarks by bringing an archive copy (photos, letters, postcards, newspaper articles, etc.). Your opinion is essential to trace and promote the identity of this territory.
