Nestled in the Rhone Valley in Saint-Désirat, Ardèche, the Musée de l'Alambic invites you to delve into the fascinating world of home distillers and distillation. Home to the largest collection of stills in France, this unique place, located in the heart of the Jean Gauthier Distillery, reveals a rich and authentic heritage.

Over 1 m² of exhibition space, explore at your own pace spectacular copper apparatuses from all four corners of the country, and follow each stage of the production of eaux-de-vie, aperitifs, creams and liqueurs, from fruit to bottle. Captivating stories, an immersive video and a digital projection enrich your visit to bring to life the history of itinerant distillers and forgotten traditions.
