Presentation

Just a few minutes from Annonay and at the crossroads of the rolling landscapes of Northern Ardèche, Quintenas seduces with its authentic character, its preserved heritage and the richness of its natural environment.

Quintenas is organized around its church of Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens, heir to a long history: a dependency of a priory since the 12th century, it was fortified to protect the inhabitants during medieval crises. Around it remain two remarkable fortified houses: the Ravier house, at the southern entrance to the village, and the fortified farm of L'Hotoire.

The old town center reveals its narrow streets, vaulted passageways, small squares, and former wash houses. A short walk away, you'll reach the Moulin-sur-Cance suspension bridge, a testament to Marc Seguin's innovations.

All around, wooded hills, orchards and pastures create a gentle countryside, ideal for walking or mountain biking. The trails offer beautiful views of the Vivarais region, the Annonay basin and, on clear days, the Alps.
