The Junique de Combalat farm has existed for 5 generations. In 1997, I started raising dairy cows, milk that I sold to large retailers.
After the birth of our first children, in 2009 we decided to change the way we farm, we chose a more environmentally friendly agriculture and converted the farm to organic farming.
In 2019, the first Black Angus cows arrived at the farm.
Currently we have about sixty cattle. These pretty black beasts are visible in our fields mainly around the house throughout the summer. In winter for their comfort, they have access to a building and are fed hay and cereals produced on the farm.
In 2021 our first free range black pigs arrived on the farm and they are in outdoor pens near our house.
Currently we have a hundred black pigs on the farm.
New 2025
The new thing for 2025 is the arrival of our ewes, black Velay sheep of course, but also white Merino sheep and finally our 2 beige rams with black heads from the Suffolk breed.
