This basilica was built from 1865 to 1900.
In neo-Byzantine style, this building invites you to enter to discover it: stained glass windows retracing the life of St Régis, shrine with its relics, the paintings of the choir evoke the history of the pilgrimage... The architect is Pierre Bossan (Fourvière and Ars).
