Charming little village in the heart of Val d'Ay, Saint Romain d'Ay is divided into three parts: the village with its church, Prapérier with its shops, then the unmissable site of Notre Dame d'Ay, a medieval site overlooking the river 'Ay.

The sanctuary of Notre Dame d'Ay is an unmissable site.
Guided tours are possible on request from the Friends of Notre Dame d'Ay association.
Gallo-Roman ramparts surround the keep and the old buildings of the medieval castle of Ay. The Dungeon room regularly hosts exhibitions and you will have access to it through guided tours.
The Romanesque chapel houses a very beautiful black Madonna with child from the XNUMXth century, an oak wood statue listed as a historical monument.
The walk around the ramparts allows you to enjoy the panorama and the view overlooking the rivers below.
The enigma course of Saint Romain d'Ay available at the Tourist Office will allow you to discover the village and its church and to stroll through the typical little streets.
