Flight with Montgolfières & Cie

Take off from everyday life! Embark aboard our balloons in a warm and relaxed atmosphere for an adventure of 3 to 4 hours above the reliefs and valleys of Annonay. Flights in small groups in balloons of 5 to 8 passengers maximum.

Montgolfières et Cie is a company created in 2010 by two passionate and qualified pilots, this team has already acquired great references and in particular the title of French champion in 2013.

We've been thinking about it since childhood, we dream of boarding these incredible
machines... From the cradle of Aerostation, come and experience this beautiful adventure with us, come and touch the sky from the most beautiful balcony in the world. You will not forget these images, this tranquility, these colors, these details noted here and there, our qualified pilots will take you aboard our friendly sized pods (from 2 to 8 seats) allowing you to have a view breathtaking 360° view. We organize balloon rides in Annonay as well as throughout the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The flights take place early in the morning in calm weather with little wind, without rain or fog. It takes about 3 to 4 hours for a flight of about 1 hour.

The flight consists of three parts: the inflation of the balloon for about 20 minutes during which you can participate, the flight and the landing in a
ground chosen according to the wind. Celebration around a few bubbles.

Detail of the service:
- You will contact us the day before the flight so that we can confirm the flight or not after studying the latest weather models.
- Reception at the park of the Château de Déomas in Annonay or in its surroundings.
- Meeting over breakfast.
- Last weather update on flight conditions, safety briefing and distribution of roles if you wish to participate in the inflation of the hot air balloon.
- Preparation of the equipment, installation of the balloon, inflation.
- Gentle takeoff for 1 hour of lightness with the winds at different altitudes, flight over the valleys and reliefs of northern Ardèche (no route can be planned, we are carried by the winds).
- On landing the recovery team finds its balloon, impressions and exchanges, folding of the balloon.
- Near the landing site we will celebrate the flight with a glass of organic or natural sparkling wine or fruit juice and pastries and a presentation of the hot air balloon ascent certificate.
- Return on board our vehicles to the place of flight.
