These visits are part of the European Heritage Days
The visit of the priory of Veyrines will allow you to discover its foundation, its decline, the end of monastic life, the parish of Veyrines, the Romanesque church, the furniture and the decoration, the capitals of the Church.
A true living memory of the hamlet of Veyrines, Marcel Mourier who died in 2016, very kindly and voluntarily ensured during his lifetime, the reception of visitors to the church located opposite his farm. To perpetuate the memory of Marcel and to energize the hamlet, the house and the adjoining barn-shed were bought by a patron and entrusted to the Friends of Veyrines via a long lease. In return, the association must ensure the restoration of the farm.
