Guided tour of the medieval village of Boulieu-lès-Annonay

Every Saturday in summer, the Compagnons du Patrimoine take you into the cellars of the Middle Ages and make you relive the troubled times of the village. Between anecdotes and legends, the streets of the fortified village immerse you in a not so distant past!

Fortified village flanked by 10 towers, 7 of which are still visible, the surrounding walls are very identifiable. Built on a gently sloping hill, 420 m above sea level, its location at the foot of the small Colombier mountain, which shelters it from the north winds, the solidity of its towers, the thickness of its walls, made a safe and pleasant place in troubled times. During guided tours, discover the Compagnons du Patrimoine museum, the Ursulines Chapel, and the washhouse.
