Six acrobats play with a modular wall filled with niches, trapdoors where the magic of the circus takes place. Twirling with acrobatic lifts, the hallmark of this Catalan company, the 6 circus performers are bubbling with ideas where the encounter with the Other becomes a pretext for physical contact and the flawless sequence of paintings between prowess and human poetry. The title Nuye comes from the Neapolitan “nuje” which means us. This piece is full of the combination of the circus version of us: balance, trust, duality, separation and union. Choreographed with precision and fluidity, this piece combines tenderness, strength and finesse. It's ingenious, surprising, poetic and funny.
