The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris are a great opportunity to revisit the history of this global sporting event, relaunched by Baron de Coubertin in 1896. Since that date, the Olympics have continued to transcribe the look of their era. This is why they now, more than ever, deserve to be analyzed as significant geopolitical objects in our societies.
