The Chirolaise

In the commune of Vanosc, 18 km from Annonay, the Chirol gîtes are located at an altitude of 870m on the southern slope of the unspoiled Pinsole valley. Welcome to the Chirolaise gîte, a renovated 17th-century stone farmhouse, cozy and comfortable.

Nestled in the sunny hills overlooking a secluded valley, this tastefully decorated house, fully equipped, is ideal for accommodating up to 10 people, including family and friends. The open-plan kitchen and living room provide a welcoming space for everyone to gather. A wood-burning stove offers gentle warmth during the colder months. Four bedrooms offer 10 beds (3 double beds, 2 of which can be joined to make single beds), 2 bathrooms, and 2 toilets for added comfort. A large southwest-facing terrace overlooks the garden, furnished with a table and chairs, and a hammock, perfect for enjoying the outdoors. The garden area offers a lovely view of the swimming pool and the wooded valley. Hiking trails and mountain biking paths are accessible nearby, with the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park to the south and the Pilat Regional Natural Park to the north. La Chirolaise gîte enjoys an exceptional setting. Chirol is an LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) refuge.

Access included from the end of May to the end of September to a shared, secure, heated swimming pool. Sauna accessible year-round, weather permitting (extra charge). Petanque court. Table tennis. Playground with swing set. Secure bicycle storage.

The La Chirolaise gîte shares this magnificent Chirol site with our house and 3 other accommodations: Le Recatou (gîte for 14), the P'tit Chirol (gite for 2) and a canvas lodge "Under the stars" for 5 /7. All these accommodations are independent and not adjoining.
